About

Project manager and mooring engineer in Perth, Western Australia. Marathoner, occasional toolmaker, persistent tinkerer.

I’m a project manager and mooring engineer at Delmar Systems in Perth, where I plan and deliver mooring campaigns around Australia. I read ocean engineering at Texas A&M, joined Delmar in 2012, and moved the family from Katy, Texas to Perth in 2020. Four kids came along on the way.

Marathoner. Occasional toolmaker. Persistent tinkerer with espresso machines, 3D printers, and anything with an API. Most of what comes out of that is on the projects page — a times-tables app, a notes-to-my-own-inbox app, a weather bot that files its forecast in the style of Cormac McCarthy, a running club’s entire digital footprint. Most of them took a weekend.

I run seriously enough that it has its own log — the week in full, the weeks around it, and the year they sit in, because a week of running says almost nothing on its own. Right now everything points at the Sydney Marathon in August 2026 and a time somewhere between 2:40 and 2:45.

Everything I make lands on this domain first and is syndicated nowhere. If you want to get in touch, my email is in the footer, and I’m cpdis nearly everywhere else.
